Visit the Sioux City Public Library for fun crafts during the holiday break. ‘Crafternoons’ will be held at Aalfs Downtown Library, 529 Pierce Street. Drop in anytime from 2-3:30pm on December 22, 23, 26, 29, 30, and 31 and make the craft of the day. All materials will be provided. These events are free and open to anyone!

Monday, December 22 - Design Your Own Gift Wrap
Say, “You Matter to Me!” by giving your holiday gifts in personalized gift wrap. Attendees will leave with a unique sheet of gift wrap. Or bring a small or medium sized gift and leave with your gift wrapped and ready to go!
Tuesday, December 23 - Keychain Creation
Craft a unique beaded keychain to keep or to gift to a special friend or family member. All materials will be provided, including an assortment of beads for you to make an original work of art!
Friday, December 26 - Multi-Media Snow Globes
Make a snow globe featuring adorable animals in a winter wonderland! Using paper, faux snow, glitter and a plastic plate, each 3D snow globe will be one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Monday, December 29 - New Year’s Magic Wand
With a wave of your magical wand, a Happy New Year will begin. Make your perfect wand by adding beads, ribbon, buttons, and more to celebrate your holidays in a whimsical way!
Tuesday, December 30 - Tell Your Story in a Zine
Learn to fold and make your own tiny booklets! They can be a story, a comic, or maybe even just some facts about something you like. Make a few to hand out to friends.
Wednesday, December 31 - Life is Your Creation
Plan and make a dream room for your toy friends to enjoy! Bring your own shoe box or choose from one of ours.
