Course Description

Performance-based instrumental ensemble open to all students. Emphasis is placed on the development of technique, ensemble performance skills, music literacy, and the rehearsal and performance of appropriate-level band repertoire. This ensemble performs at various concerts, contests, and festivals throughout the school year.

A total of two credits are required from one of the Fine Arts areas. Fine Arts areas include Music, Visual Arts, Dramatic Arts, or Additional Fine Arts Courses. Concert Band is a Music Course.
