Transitional Kindergarten (TK) bridges the gap between preschool and kindergarten. While students entering TK must be five by September 15 – just like kindergarteners – the TK program is ideal for the youngest students that may benefit from a slower-paced learning environment. Often, students with summer or early spring birthdays will flourish in a TK program, which provides age-appropriate social-emotional support and academic stimulation.
